Now that we've heard from Mike Huckabee's supporters, let's hear from the man himself:

"Running for office is like being waterboarded."

Huckabee-Rewrite the Constitution God's Way

I'm not making this up! Here's what Mike Huckabee said:

“I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution. But I believe it’s a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God. And thats what we need to do is amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than trying to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family.”

Huckabee - Vote For Me Or Die

Governor Huckabee presented three dead birds and said,

"These three birds all said they would not vote for me on caucus night. You see what happened to them."

" A reporter then asked, "Is that positive campaigning?" Huckabee's response is even more offensive than his initial statement:

"It's very positive. It's very positive. You vote for me, you live. You don't? Mmmmm (waving his hand triumphantly over his kill) ...There you go!"
