So you've been on a derby diet for the last two months, starving for the nourishing breakneck speeds, the delectable railings and the satisfying hard hits that send you home with a happy full belly. Well have no fear, dear svelte fans - it's time to gorge yourself on the feast of terror that is the Cornucopia of Death, on Sunday, October 15! There's no better way to bulk up on your fill of banked track roller derby than by attending the TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls' season-opening expo event, featuring mini-bouts by all five teams. That's right - it's a completely balanced meal of Cherry Bombs, Hellcats, Rhinestone Cowgirls, Holy Rollers, and the defending Calvello Cup champions, the Putas del Fuego. So dig out those pants with the stretchy waistband, save up your appetite and come dig into the bounty of the new derby season this Sunday!
