I was documenting the wedding of Mark and Kim at Vintage Villas on Lake Travis in Austin, TX when I captured a small red bird kissing away water droplets from the dolphin's lip:
From what I understand the bride loves dolphins and the fountain & gardens were a real selling point for her (she could see it from her balcony).
Sometimes the photos don't enlarge when you click on them, so I blew this one up a bit:
It made me smile and I can't wait to see what the bride thinks!

That is absolutely precious. What a great shot and I'm sure the bride will be very pleased.
That is a fantastic shot you captured!
Cool photo of your bird and dolphin statue. Trying to catch nature, unplanned, is very difficult and you seemed to be at the right spot at the right time. Good Work.
God Bless,
John

Thank you for such wonderful comments. I can't wait to try to print it in a giclee' style. I expect it will bring it to life. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Much love and good night.
wow.... Thats a perfect shot Erik.Dont see you much in BOTB these days :)
What a fabulous shot Erik! I love it - and your title for the post :) It looks like a house finch, which isn't the kind of bird I think of as hovering to "kiss a dolphin" - that really was perfectly timed!! Great work - and a wonderful extra for a wedding album memory.
Love this Erik! So sweet and how perfect for a wedding :)
