More of a Man...

I'd love to meet Nick Vujicic, he is an amazing man with an amazing message of thankfulness and hope.

He surely the kind of man many of us should hang out with for some time so we could stop complaining about our silly worries and problems.

"Stick to the things you have instead of the ones you don't" is quite what I needed to hear today. Great video. =)

Take care and keep smiling. =*

This was posted to me on Facebook last year and I was awestruck by it then. It was good to see it again as it certainly puts a perspective on things.

I think what comes across really strongly is his force of personality, which makes you very quickly forget about his physical challenges and want to be his mate. Here's someone who really lives and uses his life, which is what we're all here for, yes? And that doesn't have to be something super extraordinary like him. I read somewhere that there are things that only you can do. This is what makes you unique. Even if you do the same thing as another, it will always have your stamp on it and (hopefully) positively affect those around you.

I think he's an Australian, or Kiwi, isn't he? They do seem to have a particularly sunny attitude.

It's people like Nick who remind the rest of us what really matters in life.

I just shared this video with my kids today. Thank you. We will be ordering the DVD as part of our journey to remembering our blessings and being thankful for the beauty in the world and our place in it. xo
