Police Threaten to Gas Veterans at DNC.

I wonder if they were granted access to speak at the convention or if they attempted to approach the convention again. I wonder if they would claim victory and leave so quickly if someone wearing a suit says something reassuring again.

I hope that both campaigns speak to veterans and citizens about important issues. I also hope that both camps become defenders of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Kucinich Asks Himself a Question

After Dennis Kucinich received so little attention and airtime in the last debate, he apparently decided to take the bull by the horns and ask himself a question:

"Are you the only one sitting up here who advocates a universal, single-payer, not-for-profit health care system which would result in all 46 million Americans who are not insured and another 50 million Americans who are under-insured for being covered."

Power to the People

I stumbled across this video after the most recent Republican debate. It's not quite morning music, but it gave me pause. This is Democratic Presidential hopeful, Mike Gravel, singing(ish) "Power to the People". He may not be allowed to debate, but they can't stop him from singing. :) As with all of my presidential postings so far, this is not an endorsement...just thought it was a fun video.
