Paschke Girl

Here's a sneak peak at Arlene's newest project entitled, "Paschke Girl" as it was inspired by Ed Paschke's, "Electralady". The design is sitting on a light-board, so the colors and textures are much different than they appear in this photo.

Amazing Miniature Knitting by Althea Crome

Being married to a textile artist, I have truly come to appreciate the work that goes into any garment, let alone miniatures.

I found this when I visited Strawberry Anarchy's blog today.

Althea Crome is an amazing textile artist who produces miniature clothing and accessories by using needles that are sometimes just a bit larger than a human hair.

You can check out more of Althea's work here.

Backstage at Balenciaga

This is part of where I have been this week, in Dallas at the Meadows Museum on the SMU Campus. Here are a few more behind the scene shots at preparations for the opening of the Balenciaga Show. Click on any of the pictures to enlarge.
