Pyrography for Connosieurs

Meet Walker Babington.  He prefers blow torches, flame throwers, metal grinders, ice picks, old silverware and crayons to more conventional media.  His canvases?  Wood, doors, metal pieces-parts and anything else that gets in his way.  As he puts it, "Anything that will rust, I'll rust; anything that burns, I'll burn.

In the section about Walker on his FB page, it states, "If I could make the world as pure and strange as what I see, I'd put you in the mirror I put in front of me".

Another Shot from the Arthouse of Ionic Futurism

Here is another shot of Dalana Castrell & AllexosQ's work from the Arthouse of Ionic Futurism:

Their work is full of symbolism and is peaceful, vibrant, enlightening and haunting.

If you would like to see her work, do it soon.

They are heading to New York in the next couple of months.

Screamer Party Video

Here is a quick video of stills taken throughout the "One" party thrown by the Screamer Company. If you missed their party during SXSW, you missed a great one. Live music, fantastic food, libations, great people, great conversation, great fun. Hope to see you at the next one.

"ONE" - The Collection

Take a peek at the Screamer Company site. They are fostering creativity and community by bringing artists together and sharing their work with the outside world.
